CJ Gryffin Enterprises Announces The Color Of Silence Audiobook, Narrated By Heather Thivierge Of HT Voiceover
June 8, 2026 — CJ Gryffin Enterprises LLC announces that The Color of Silence is officially in audiobook production. The audio edition will be narrated by Heather Thivierge of HT Voiceover, whose voice is helping bring Darius's story to life in a new way. The audiobook is expected to be available in mid-August 2026 and will feature the novel's companion soundtrack woven into the listening experience.
The announcement expands the launch of The Color of Silence beyond print, EPUB, Kindle, and soundtrack formats into an audio production designed to carry the emotional shape of the story through narration and music. The novel follows Darius Turner, a nonverbal boy in 1930s Atlanta whose dreams open into Somnoria, a realm where dragons understand the language beneath words.
Heather Thivierge is a San Diego-based voiceover artist whose public profile describes a natural voice that ranges from warm to cool, with character range across child, teen, and adult roles. Her work emphasizes the difference between a novel being merely read and one being dynamically performed, a quality that aligns with The Color of Silence's intimate emotional realism and dream-realm mythology.
The audiobook will also integrate the twenty-two-song companion soundtrack created by Window Light Studio, bringing readers and listeners closer to the musical atmosphere of Somnoria. For CJ Gryffin Enterprises, the audio edition is part of a larger commitment to building a story world that can be read, heard, and experienced across formats.
For CJ Gryffin Enterprises, the audiobook production gives Darius' story another way to reach readers and listeners, especially with the soundtrack embedded into an experience built for voice, atmosphere, and emotional immersion.
CJ Gryffin's The Color of Silence Brings Historical Fantasy, Neurodivergent Representation, And A Companion Soundtrack By Window Light Studio Into One Immersive Story World
June 20, 2026 — Debut author CJ Gryffin announces the release of The Color of Silence, a historical fantasy set in 1930s Atlanta and the dream realm of Somnoria. The novel follows Darius Turner, a nonverbal Black boy whose family is trying to protect him from a world that sees difference and reaches first for judgment, until a dragon named Azure begins guiding him through a realm where his silence is not treated as absence.
Written by a special education teacher drawing on years of close experience with students who move through the world differently, The Color of Silence offers a more intimate and human portrayal of neurodivergence than fantasy readers are often given. Darius is not a problem to solve and not a miracle meant to inspire other people. He is the hero of his own story.
The novel also launches with a twenty-two-song companion soundtrack created by Window Light Studio specifically for the book. Rather than serving as general background music, the songs are tied to specific chapters and discoveries, extending the emotional life of the novel and reinforcing what the reader has just uncovered.
As the opening volume in the Dreamers' Dragons world, The Color of Silence blends family tenderness, dream-realm mythology, and a larger saga still unfolding across centuries. It is a story about being seen, protected, and guided toward voice on one's own terms.
